Senior Friar Fund | Mission Fund | Franciscan Missionary Union
One of our senior Franciscans serving in the missions put it this way; "Some give to the missions by going, others go to the missions by giving!" The Mission fund enables Franciscan sisters and brothers, lay and religious, to bring the "good news" to people who suffer from oppression, hunger, lack of education and homelessness. Our missionary efforts extend as far away as Kazakhstan and as near home as the Native American nations of the Southwestern United States. Franciscans continue to discover and bring the Gospel to Peru, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia, and the Holy Land and almost anywhere there are people in need.
